- Approved contractors are demonstrably committed to customer service and the compulsory licensing of their staff. This means their customers can rest assured that every private security operative deployed on their premises will be working within the law.

BS 7499:2007

This British Standard gives recommendations for the management, staffing and operation of an organization providing security guarding services on a static site, and mobile patrols.

BS 7984: 2001

This British Standard gives recommendations for the management, staffing and operation of an organisation providing key holding and response services on a contracted basis.

BS 7858:2006

This British Standards gives recommendations for the security screening of individuals to be employed in an environment where the security and safety of people, goods or property is a requirement of the employing organizations operations and/ or where such security screening is in the public interest.
Gryphon Security prides itself in the vetting of all our employees. We outsource our vetting to a qualified reputable company. Once returned, this gives us an enhanced financial, residence, and work history. With the S.I.A Licence giving enhanced criminal records checks and our own vetting controls, we go beyond what is required by any standards.
